Privacy Policy
Effective 29 October 2026. Developer: MVision Digital. Contact: neuceptionsolutions@gmail.com
Pinproof takes photos and stamps them with the date, time and place. This policy explains what the app uses, why, and your choices. We do not sell your information.
Your photos and locations stay on your phone
Photos, projects, notes and the places they were taken are stored only on your device. Stamped copies are saved to your phone's gallery (Pictures/Pinproof). Nothing is uploaded to us. The app has no account and no sign-up.
What the app uses and why
Camera, to take photos. Precise location, only while the app is open, to stamp coordinates and accuracy on your photos. It is never used in the background. Compass and motion sensors, to show the level and to guide you back to where an earlier photo was taken. Photo locations: when you stamp photos you already took, the app reads the time and place saved in each one you pick. It only sees the photos you choose.
Addresses are looked up with your phone's built-in geocoder, which may send the coordinates to Google to find the street name. Reports and exports are only shared where you choose to send them.
Ads (free version)
The free version shows a small banner on the project screen and offers optional ads you can watch to unlock a feature once. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, information about how you interact with ads and the app, and diagnostic data. Google uses this under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, using Google's consent tool, and you can change your choice in the app's settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings. Pinproof Pro removes all ads.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to confirm your Pro purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and purchase status (for example product, date and expiry), never your payment card details or name.
What we do not collect
No name, email, phone number or contacts, and no copies of your photos, notes or locations. We do not run our own analytics.
Your choices
You can delete photos and projects in the app, or delete the app, which removes everything it stored (copies already in your gallery stay until you delete them). You can turn off location or camera access in your phone's settings at any time. To ask for your purchase record to be removed from RevenueCat, see our data deletion page.
Children
Pinproof is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for users 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the effective date above.
